TundraTech Alaska

TundraTech Alaska utilizes high quality fabrics and materials in their manufacturing process. Production is completed within their 15,000 square foot facility located in interior Alaska. The custom teglars and microwave radomes are manufactured with material using technology that provides a high performing, extended life durable surface. The materials and manufacturing process employed result in an end product with excellent weathering resistance, dirt resistance, and are essentially self-cleaning. The materials are bonded together in the factory using Radio Frequency (RF) welding which results in an airtight seal. The welded material then moves to the sewing floor for cutting and sewing. The thread used has high resistance to UV sunlight, extreme temperature variations, chemicals, saltwater, mold, and other elements, making it ideal for outdoor applications. Reinforcements are sewn to the edge of the dish cover to further extend the product life minimizing long-term wear. There is a visual inspection at all stages of the process, with a final inspection upon completion.
